OBITUARY: Bryan Leslie Rigdon
Bryan Leslie Rigdon, the beloved son of Jack Wilson Rigdon and Kay Dial Rigdon, passed away June 14, 2007, at home. Bryan was born Sept. 6, 1968, in Topeka, KS.
Bryan attended Tecumseh South and Shawnee Heights High School. He was a member of Countryside United Methodist Church. He played on the Ken Berry Baseball Team and was an avid lover of baseball and football. Bryan enjoyed working with antiques. He loved to read, fish, and was a very good cook. In past years, Bryan had worked construction and at the Eighth Street Auction.
In addition to his parents he is survived by a brother and sister-in-law: Christopher Jack and Mary Rigdon of Olathe; 2 nieces: Madelyn and Meghan Rigdon; and a nephew: Jack Christopher Rigdon
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Mon., June 18, 2007, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, Topeka. Interment will be in Valley Falls Cemetery. Bryan will lie in state after 4:00 PM, Sunday at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 2625 NW Rochester Rd, Topeka, KS 66617 or Countryside United Methodist Church Renovation, 3221 SW Burlingame Rd, Topeka, KS 66611-2096.
