Bruce M. Jessepe

Bruce M. Jessepe, age 67, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021 at his home in Kansas City.  Bruce was born February 1, 1954 in Topeka the son of Lester and Beulah (Cooper) Jessepe and grandson of Hanelle and “Aunt Kate” Jessepe.     He graduated from Topeka High School and attended Kansas University.  Bruce served in the U.S. Army Reserve.  He worked in food services at the Topeka Country Club, then while living in San Francisco.  He also worked at Stormont Vail Hospital in the respiratory department.  Bruce was a member of the Potawatomi Prairie Band Tribe.  Bruce loved living in a big city, especially San Francisco.  He enjoyed music, movies and reading.  Bruce was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford Jessepe.  He is survived by three sisters, Leslie (Charles) Jessepe, Evon Marie Jessepe and Grace Loraine Jessepe, all of Topeka, along with several nieces and nephews.
