Brett Michael Joynt, 23, of Topeka, passed away on December 25, 2022.
He was born on July 2, 1999 to Jay Joynt and Tania Rogers in Topeka, Kansas.
Brett graduated from Topeka High School in 2017 and also graduated from Tulsa Welding School in 2018. Brett worked at the Target Distribution Center as a Warehouse Worker for two years.
Brett was an adrenalin junkie and loved to skydive. He also loved to ride dirt bikes, motorcycles, scooters, bikes, skateboards, anything with wheels. Brett took great pride in all of his family and loved his friends. When he was in high school he also served in the ROTC. He knew how to make everyone smile and laugh. Everyone will miss his contagious laugh and infectious personality.
Brett is survived by his both of his parents; sister, Cassandra Joynt; nephew, Christian Kelly; girl friend, Lyssa Reed; Uncles, Lt. Commander Jeffery Joynt and Michael Rogers; aunt, Ellen Rogers; cousins, James (Bree) Joynt, Krystina (Matt) Aubuchon, Sgt. Joshua Joynt, Katie (Keyon) Davis, Colton Glenn, and Alex and Jessica Valli.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Kenneth Barsch; maternal grandparents, Josie Rogers & Gerald Raybern; and paternal grandparents, James and Norma Joynt.
Celebration of Life for Brett will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2023, 1:00 pm at the Parker-Price Funeral Home.
Inurnment will take place at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the 'Christian Kelly Trust Fund' and sent in care of Parker Price Funeral Home.
