Brent Scott Mccallister

June 18, 1959 — August 29, 2022

Brent Scott McCallister, 63, of Lincoln Park, Michigan, passed away on August 29, 2022.

Brent was born on June 18, 1959 to Douglas Earl McCallister and Virginia Mae Scott in Dearborn, MI.

After graduating from high school, Brent joined the Unites States Army. He served from 1977 to 1980 until being honorably discharged.

Brent worked as a truck driver, traveling the United States for over 32 years before retiring.

He loved attending rock concerts, riding his motorcycle, and watching all sporting events. Brent was extremely knowledgeable at finding his way around. He knew all landmarks, roads, and shortcuts to help people find their way if they were lost. His family thanks his years in trucking for that. Brent was also very keen on remembering all important dates. He knew what team, won what game, on what date, from years and years ago. He will always be remembered for his selfless personality. He would help anyone in need. Brent never knew a stranger and was one that could strike up a conversation with anyone he met. His family will miss him dearly.

Brent is survived by his children, Melissa (Robert) Keathley, Brandy Christman, and Adam McCallister; brothers, Doug (Joyce) McCallister, Brian McCallister, and Robert McCallister; half-sister, Lisa McCallister; grandchildren, Dominic Keathley, Damian Keathley, Ella Keathley, Preston McCallister and fiancé Michael Dominguez, Alex McCallister, and Silas McCallister.

Brent was preceded in death by both of his parents and his sister, Vicki Pelfrey.

Per Brent's wishes, cremation will take place and his Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
