Brenda Lee Igercic

Brenda Lee Igercic, 46, Topeka, died Friday , June 13, 2003, at a Topeka hospital. She was born March 10, 1957, in Topeka, the daughter of Edward and Gladys W. Stroth Taylor. She graduated from Shawnee Heights High School. Mrs. Igercic worked in special education at Highland Park High School for eight years. She married Steve J. Igercic on April 24, 1981, in Topeka. He Survives. Other survivors include two sons: Joey Lee Igercic, Wamego, and Jeffrey T. Igercic, Topeka; three stepsons: Brad Igercic, Timothy Igercic and Kevin Igercic, all of Topeka; a stepdaughter, Stacey Smith, Topeka; three sisters: Barbara Whitcomb and Tammy Anderson, both of Topeka, and Sharon Waldy, Olathe; and five grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m Tuesday at Parker-Price Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Igercic will lie in state after 3 p.m. Monday at the mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m.
