Bradley "Brad" Kenneth Streets, 60, of Topeka, passed away on December 21, 2021.
He was born on October 18, 1961 to Kenneth and Marilyn (Miller) Streets in Neodesha, Kansas. Brad graduated from Fredonia High School in 1980. After high school, he attended Kansas State University where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
Brad married Laurie Spurgeon in 1994 in Topeka, Kansas where they established their home and grew their family.
During his career, Brad worked at various companies such as Lafarge, Alamo Group, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas, and most recently at Gainwell Technologies where he was a Systems Business Analyst Manager. Brad touched many lives and formed positive relationships with his coworkers.
Brad enjoyed hobbies such as being outdoors, camping, boating, grilling and woodworking. As an avid football fan he enjoyed watching K-State and Kansas City Chiefs football. One of his greatest moments in life was watching the Chiefs win Super Bowl LIV. Brad also cherished owning his 1950 and 1972 Chevrolet trucks passed down from his great grandfather and grandfather, respectively.
Brad is survived by his loving wife, Laurie; children, Afton and her husband Brandon and their children, Kendra, Keith, Amanda, and Garrett; father Kenny of Fredonia, Kansas; brother Jeff Streets and Kira of Cypress, Texas; and a host of extended family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Streets.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2021, 5:00-7:00 pm at Parker-Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Topeka, Kansas. The family requests attendees to wear Kansas City Chiefs apparel.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, 11:00 am at the Parker-Price Funeral Home with graveside service to follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.
