OBITUARY: Brad Allan Hillebert
Brad Allan Hillebert, 42, Topeka, died Thurs., March 1, 2012, at his home. He was born Jan. 29, 1970, in Topeka, the son of Connie and Robert L. Hillebert, Sr. He graduated from Seaman High School in 1988 and attended Washburn Univ. Brad served 5 years in the U.S. Army and since 1997 was employed with the Shawnee County Corrections Facility, retiring as a Lieutenant. He was married to Shelly Valdivia. Surviving are his daughter: Jessica Hillebert; his mother: Connie Hillebert; brothers: Robert L. Hillebert, Jr. (Debra) and twin, Brian Hillebert (Felicia); and three loving nephews: Tristan, Brock, and Gavin, all of Topeka. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Mon., March 5, 2012, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave. A Fort Riley U.S. Army Detail will conduct military honors at Rochester Cemetery. Brad will lie in state from 1:00 to 8:30 PM, Sun., at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Brad Hillebert Memorial Fund (for Jessica's education), 1944 NW Topeka Blvd., Topeka, KS 66608.
