Bonnie Lee Schillings

Bonnie Lee Schillings, 80, of Topeka passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020.   She was born January 20, 1940 in Wayne County, Michigan the daughter of Russell William and Naomi Droese Starnes.   She was raised at Leavenworth and graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1957.

In 1973, she moved to Escondido, California and lived there until moving to Topeka in 2002.   Bonnie enjoyed helping people and this served her well during her career as a home healthcare provider.

Bonnie married Dale Schillings on February 29, 1999 at Escondido, California. He survives at their home in Topeka.

She is survived by two sons, Steven Wager (Lesia) of Little Port, England, Randall Wager (Ronda) of rural Leavenworth; her daughter, Shani Kelly (Tina) of Topeka; brother, Russell Starnes in Boise, Idaho; two sisters, Barbara Millard (Larry) Plano, Texas and Jackie Douthitt of Leavenworth; nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
