Bonnie Seel

Bonnie Seel, 81, of Topeka, KS, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2014 at Midland Care Hospice House. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene. They were married for 51 years. She is also preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Agnes Rosa; her brothers Robert Rosa, Wayne Rosa and Harold Rosa. She is survived by her brothers Dean Rosa and Ralph Rosa; and her sister Lorraine Twombly. She is also survived by her 11 children, Jim Stanley, Calvin Stanley, Tom Seel, Ken Seel, Debie McRae, Donna Sease, Mike Seel, Jim Seel, Frank Seel, Karla Hards and Clyde Seel; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bonnie retired from USD 501 where she worked as a para for the Head Start Program and then as a payroll clerk.

The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel Home, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka. Graveside services immediately following at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, 3616 SW Sixth Avenue, Topeka.

Bonnie will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Monday at the funeral chapel. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 6, 2014 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
