Bobby Joe Hester

Bobby Joe Hester, 56, of Topeka passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019.   He was born March 7, 1963 at Topeka the son of Bill Hester and Patsy McKnight.   Bobby graduated from Topeka High School.   He was an apprentice plumber by trade. He enjoyed pitching horseshoes, playing pool, fishing, TV westerns, and hanging out with his friends.   He enjoyed music, listening to classic rock music, ACDC and Fog Hat which were a few of his favorites. Spending time with his family was very important to him.   His dog Rocky was very special to him as well.

Survivors include his daughter, Chansey N. Hester of Topeka; brothers, Bucky Hester in Mississippi, Brian Hester in Ohio and Woodie Hester of Topeka; sisters, Barbara Chapman in Mississippi, Julie Morgan and Jeanette Morgan both of Topeka; and his grandson, Chace Evans of Topeka. Bobby was cremated. A visitation will be held on Friday evening, August 9, 2019 at Davidson Funeral Home from 6-8 pm.
