Bobbie Jo Baker
Bobbie Jo Baker, 50, born March 25, 1964, in Topeka, the daughter of Gerald and Doris Baker. She passed peacefully on September 18, 2014, at Midland Hospice Care. She had been battling Diabetes since the age of eight.
Bobbie will be missed by all that knew her, especially her family, her mother Doris, her three sisters, Terry Colwell, Jennie Baker and Lucille VanBoven. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and her little dog, Harley.
She enjoyed fishing, her little dog, Harley, and was especially fond of bowling. She was employed by the State of Kansas until her health caused an early retirement.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald, and brother, Kirk.
The family would like to thank Midland Hospice for their care and loving support and all they did.
Bobbie is no longer in pain and God has taken her home.
Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue.
