Blanche Eileen Ball

B. Eileen Ball, age 82, of Topeka passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka. Eileen was born March 26, 1935 in Elmont, Kansas the daughter of Jess and Madge Willhite Kauffman. She graduated from Seaman High School in 1954. She married Charles Ball June 17, 1956 in Topeka. He preceded her in death September 6, 2002. She worked at Santa Fe Railroad for over 30 years, retiring in 1994. She was a past member of the Elmont United Methodist Church, the Santa Fe Women’s Club and the Santa Fe Old Timers Club. She was preceded in death by a son, Craig Ball December 14, 2014. She is survived by a son, Ken (Tina) Ball of Topeka.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. She will lie in state Monday from noon – 5:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Half Day Cemetery in Elmont, KS. Memorials may be made to the Seaman Alumni Association. davidsonfuneral.com.
