Billy G. Sloan

Billy G. Sloan, age 79, of Topeka, passed away Monday, September 17, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital. Billy was born September 10, 1939 in Kentucky. Billy served two tours in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. He would later serve with the Air National Guard in the 190 ^th Air Refueling Group for over 31 years. He married Shirley Ann Smotherman July 15, 1963. She preceded him in death November 16, 2003. Billy is survived by a son, Michael and his wife DeAnn Sloan of Topeka and two granddaughters, Nicole and Kaitlyn Sloan. Billy enjoyed fishing, woodworking and traveling. He was a past member of the Kaw Valley Wood Carvers.

Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the Davidson Funeral Home. Inurnment services will be 2:30 p.m. at the Leavenworth National Cemetery. davidsonfuneral.com.
