Billy Pletcher

Billy Pletcher, 78, of Topeka, passed away November 3, 2009 at Midland Hospice House. He was born in White City, the son of Elwood and Gladys (Anderson) Pletcher. He retired from Goodyear Tire Company. He married Dorris Britton in 1975, she survives. Also surviving are a son: William Pletcher of Grovetown, GA, 3 step-daughters: Shirley Grosse of Marion, Jane Turner of Fletcher, OK and Sue McGilton of Topeka, 1 step-son: Mike Nonken of Milam, TX. Billy's first wife, Barbara and son Tim both preceded him in death. Services will be Friday at 10:00 AM, November 6, 2009 at Dover Federated Church. Interment in Dover Cemetery. Mr. Pletcher will lie in state after 3:00 PM Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice Care, 200 SW Frazier Cir, Topeka, KS 66606.
