Billy Wayne Gardner

Billy W. Gardner, age 48, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka.  Billy was born March 27, 1973 in Paris, Texas the son of Terry and Linda (Clay) Gardner.  Billy attended Topeka High School.  He married Christina Bevitt October 10, 2000.  Billy worked at John Hall Floor Covering for over 30 years.  Billy was preceded in death by his father, Terry Gardner.  He is survived by his wife, Christina Gardner of Topeka; his mother, Linda Wheeler of Topeka; grandmother, Lillie Bell Yamez; step mother, Gayle Gardner; a son, Tyler Allen Gardner of Topeka; a brother, Cliff (Tina) Gardner of Kansas City, KS and a sister, Sharon (Sam) Marlow of Kaufman, TX.; three uncles, Jim Gardner, Bill Gardner and Scott Gardner; three aunts, Patricia (Kevin) Byers, Brinda King and Diann Yanez; four nieces, Kasey Gardner, Amber Hopkins, Stephanie Wood and Meagan Wanderscheid, and nephews, Sam Marlow, Jr., Gage Gardner, Cody Bellars and Larry Wood.  Billy was a very helpful person and was always encouraging everyone.  Billy was also a long-time ABATE member.

Memorial services will be Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home.    Donations may be made payable to Kansas Suicide Prevention Resource Center and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home. Services will be live-streamed on the Davidson Funeral Home and Cremation Services Facebook page.
