Beverly Washburn Ostrander, 80, of Topeka, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016.
She was born March 13, 1936, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Everett and Lillian Reick Washburn. She was a graduate of Topeka High School and member of Gage Park Baptist Church in Topeka.
Beverly married Robert "Gene" Ostrander on January 14, 1956, in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include children, Becky (John) Eck, Robert E. Ostrander, Deanna (Doug) Willard, and Janell (Brian) Holmes; sisters, Doris, Lois, Mary, Sharon, and Vicki; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and great-granddaughter, Lillie Seibel.
A memorial ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016, at Gage Park Baptist Church, 3601 SW 10th Street, Topeka, Kansas 66604. Interment of the cremated remains will be at a later date in Half-Day Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st Topeka, Kansas 66604.
