Beverly Lou Scheele

Beverly Lou Scheele, 70, Topeka, died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004, at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. She was born Oct. 31, 1933, in Greenleaf, the daughter of Victor R. and Viola M. Eaton Wilson. She graduated from Clay Center High School and attended Clark s Business College. She moved to Topeka in 1952. Mrs. Scheele worked in the Santa Fe Railway offices for 43 years before retiring in September 1995. She was a member of St. John s Lutheran Church. She married Norman H. Scheele Sr. on Nov. 14, 1953, in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, Norman H. Scheele Jr. and Stephen D. Scheele, both of Topeka; a daughter, Debra Ann Varney, Circleville; a sister, Brenda Mills, Topeka; a brother, Victor Wilson, Hanover; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandsons. Mrs. Scheele was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Lou Hermann, in March of 2002. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John s Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Mount Hope Ceme tery. Mrs. Scheele will lie in state after 3 p.m. today at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 837 S.
