Beverly Joan Locke

Beverly Jean Locke, 82, of Topeka, passed away on January 17, 2021 at Tanglewood Health and Rehabilitation.

She was born on November 1, 1938 to Roy and Elizabeth (Allison) LaCrone at Topeka, KS.

She graduated from Topeka High School in 1956. Beverly worked for Duffins Optical then worked for the State of Kansas where she retired after working for 30 years.

On February 16, 2008, she married Kenneth Locke in Topeka at Oakland Methodist Church.

She was a member of Odd Fellows and the Shawnee County Sheriff Office Reserves. Beverly loved to garden and crocheting and knitting. She enjoyed spoiling her cats and dogs.

Beverly is survived by her loving Husband, Kenneth, Daughters, Angela Higgins, Elizabeth S. Hill, and Pam McLoud; Sons, Alejandro M. Vasquez, Kevin McLoud; Brother, Richard LaCrone; 4 granddaughters, 3 grandsons; 2 great grandsons; 5 step children; and a host of extended family.

Beverly was preceded in death by her Father, Roy LaCrone, Mother, Elizabeth LaCrone; previous Husbands, Alejandro Vasquez and Thomas Dutton; Brother Wesley LaCrone,

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 21, 2021, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, followed by Memorial Service at 1:00 pm at Parker-Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions.

Memorials are suggested to the Jefferson County Humane Society.
