OBITUARY: Beverly Alaine Bledsoe
Beverly Alaine Bledsoe, 19, Valley Falls, died Mon., July 26, 2010, in an auto accident southwest of Valley Falls. She was born July 27, 1990, in Topeka. She graduated from Valley Falls High School and B-Street Academy. Beverly was a cosmetologist at Smart Style in North Topeka. She was preceded in death by her father, Gary D. Bledsoe, and a brother, Brandon Jenkins. Surviving are her grandparents: Gordon L. and Eileen R. (Johnston) Bledsoe of Valley Falls; 2 uncles: Todd Bledsoe (Sharon) of Leavenworth, and Rodney Bledsoe (Cathy) of Independence, MO; companion: Joe Russell of Topeka; and 4 cousins. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM, Sat., July 31, 2010, at Fairview Cemetery, northwest of Oskaloosa. Beverly will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Fri., at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, Topeka, where the family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Beverly A. Bledsoe Memorial Fund, c/o Denison State Bank, POB 288, Meriden, KS 66512.
