Beulah Dolejsi

Beulah I. Dolejsi, 94, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at her home. She was born on November 19, 1917 in Topeka, Kansas to John Joseph and Lillie Mae (Landis) Mogan.
Beulah grew up in various towns throughout Kansas and also Beatrice, Nebraska. She graduated from Goodland High School. She was a homemaker and loved to play cards, especially with her bridge club.
On December 24, 1940 she married Irvin J. Dolejsi in Topeka, Kansas. He preceded her in death on June 14, 1971. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Pamela Ann on November 24, 1946.
Beulah is survived by her children, Jerry Wayne Dolejsi and Cheryl Lynn Dolejsi, both of Topeka; sister, Marie A. Smith of Morgan Hill, CA; six grandchildren, Justin Crockett of Lawrence; Angela (Francisco) Dominguez Plakio of Topeka; Pamela Robeson of Virginia Beach, VA; Michelle (Erik) Rocha of Topeka; Tereasa (Carlos) Fuentes of Topeka and Crystal Dolejsi of Topeka and 20 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the Topeka Cemetery Garden Chapel. Beulah will lie in state after 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Midland Care Hospice Services, 200 SW Frazier Cir, Topeka, KS 66606 or Topeka Rescue Mission, 600 N Kansas Ave, Topeka, KS 66608 or Furever Friends, 727 S. 3rd, Madison, KS 66860.
