Betty L. Warthen, 78, Scranton, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2007 at a local care center.
Betty was born November 11, 1928 in Topeka, the daughter of Forrest and Florence (Seal) Tibbits.
She was married to Michael Warthen on August 24, 1972. He survives. Other survivors include 4 sisters, 5 brothers, 2grandsons and 2 nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Betty will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Parker Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, after 2:00 p.m. on today and visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Memorial contribution may be made to the Arcadia unit at Manor Care Health Services, 2515 SW Wanamaker Road, Topeka, KS 66614
