Betty Jean Henderson

Betty Jean Henderson, age 86, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday morning, September 28, 2022 at the Plaza West Care Home.  Betty was born October 31, 1935 in Topeka the daughter of William and Vera (Lamb) Cohee.  She graduated from Topeka High School in 1953.  She worked as a surgery technician at St. Francis and daycare later in life.  She was preceded in death by a son, James Henderson.  She is survived by four sons, Gary (Sherry) Henderson of Collinsville, OK, Mike Cook of Topeka, Scott Henderson of Topeka and Steve Henderson of Tulsa, OK; a daughter, Pam Cook of Mannford, OK; a brother, Terry Cohee of Topeka; two sisters, Barbara Mercer of Topeka and Mary Thomasson of Topeka; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Private family inurnment will be at the West Lawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.
