Betty Louise Downs

Betty Louise Downs, age 89, of Topeka passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019, at Midland Hospice House.  Betty was born April 11, 1930 in Atchison, KS the daughter of Allie (Hicks) McLaury. She married Wayne Hiskey, they later divorced. Betty was a resident of Rolling Hills Assisted Living and the family wants to extend their thanks and gratitude to Tammy Blake and all the nurses and staff who watched over Betty.  Betty was preceded in death by her parents; two aunts and a son, Paul Trullinger.  She is survived by two daughters, Pat (Dean) Brown of Topeka and Linda (Ron) White of Pasadena, TX; four grandchildren, Tyson (Tammy) Brown of Ozawkie, Tonya Brown of Topeka, Shannon (Ronnie) Barnhart and Brent Newton of Texas; seven great grandchildren, Kayla Brown, Tyla Brown, Keishon Brown, Brittny Grammier, Derrick Grammier, Hailey Mistretta and Keaton Newton; and two great-great grandchildren, Emma West and Mason Mistretta.

Funeral services will be Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will be in Pasadena, TX. davidsonfuneral.com.
