OBITUARY: Mrs. Betty Louise Brown
Mrs. Betty Louise Brown, 75, of Topeka died Friday afternoon, March 18, 2005 at McCrite Plaza, Topeka. Betty was born Nov. 8, 1929 at Waverly, KS the daughter of William Clifford and Ida Mae (Neblong) Chapman.
She had worked for the Dept. of Revenue, State of Kansas before retiring.
Betty was married to Francis R. Brown who preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son: Michael W. Brown of Topeka; 2 daughters: Linda K. Barber of Vernal, UT and Phyllis Ann Wilkes of Topeka; a sister: Mary Ann Faught of Topeka; a brother: James Dean Chapman of Topeka; 7 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 21, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence. Private entombment will be in Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum. Mrs. Brown will lie in state after 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel.
