Barbara Joan (Creek) Cramer

Barbara J. (Creek) Cramer, age 87, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Topeka.  Barbara was born March 30, 1934 in Topeka the daughter of Fred and Mildred (DeGarmo) Gebhart.  She grew up in Topeka, graduating from Topeka High School in 1952.  She married Ralph E. Creek, he preceded her in death on January 3, 1984.  She was married to Ernest Cramer, he preceded her in death on November 2, 2014.  Barbara was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Assumption Catholic Church.  She had worked at Brewster Place as a baker for several years.  She enjoyed going to the casino, bingo, ceramics, wood carvings and China painting.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Vera Gebhart; a brother, Fred Gebhart; a great-great grandson, Zachary Kirk; and a step-grandson, Kyle Schmidt.  She is survived by two sons, Ron (Teresa) Creek of Topeka and Ken (Joyce) Creek of Pottsboro, Texas; a sister-in-law, Carol Gebhart of Topeka; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home.  She will lie in state from noon – 5:00 p.m. Thursday at the Davidson Funeral Home.  Interment will be at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.  davidsonfuneral.com.
