OBITUARY: Anthony Felix Delg
Anthony Felix Delg, 85, Lecompton, passed away Fri., April 27, 2007, at his home. He was born April 10, 1922, at Mayetta, the son of Dennis and Mary (Cadgue) Delgadillo. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Tony was a barber, machinist, home builder, and realtor before retiring. He was a member of Lecompton Lodge # 420, AF&AM; Lawrence Scottish Rite Bodies; and Abadallah Shrine Temple.
He was married to Ione L. Smith on June 20,1946, at Little Rock, AR. She preceded him in death on Aug. 31, 1990.
Surviving are 2 daughters and sons-in-law: Yvonne A. and Mark Tunstall of Lecompton and Renee M. and Bob Merritt of Oskaloosa; and 3 grandchildren: Jennifer Delg, Mark Tunstall, and Travis Tunstall.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Thurs., May 3, 2007, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, Topeka. A Fort Leavenworth U.S. Army Detail will conduct military honors at Maple Grove Cemetery, Lecompton. Tony will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Wednesday, at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.
