Anna Marie Tetuan

Anna Marie Tetuan, 88, of Topeka, passed away on July 7, 2023 at Brewster Place in Topeka, Kansas.

Anna was born on August 23, 1934 to Mary (Pusch) Roth in Topeka, Kansas.

Anna was as a homemaker and volunteered at Let's Help and at the annual Mexican Fiesta in Topeka for many years. She was employed in the daycare at Central Congregational Church on Sundays and worked in food service at Lowman Hill Elementary School until she retired in 2003.

Anna met her future husband, Roselino John Tetuan while they both worked at Volume Shoe in Topeka. Roselino preceded her in death.

Anna cared about people which was evident by her likeable nature and the ability to socialize with almost anyone. She loved watching pro wrestling, game shows, westerns, Chiefs games, and KU sports. Playing cards and board games also brought her joy, as well as shopping and attending local craft shows.

Anna Marie is survived by her children; Mary Ann (Michael) Barber, Michael (Terri Coates) Tetuan, Patricia (Randy) Robert, and David Tetuan; grandchildren, Leah Barber, Jordon Tetuan, Michelle (Weston) Hogan, Blake Tetuan, Brooklin Tetuan, Sarah Robert, Rebecca Robert, Summer Tetuan, and Zach Tetuan; and great grandchild, Asher Hogan.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her mother, Mary Roth; and sister, Gwen Ables.

Visitation where family will greet friends, will be held on Monday, July 17, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Parker-Price Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow starting at 11:00 am.

Graveside service will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Topeka.
