Anna Mae Viergever, 73, of Auburn, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2009.
She was born October 28, 1936 in Grove, OK, the daughter of Carmen L. and Emma Mae (Benge) Walthall.
She was a member of Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church, Topeka.
Anna married Don Viergever, Sr. on February 17, 1953 in Silver Lake, KS. He survives. Other survivors include her son, Don (Laura) Viergever, Jr. of Topeka and Randy (Karen) Viergever of Silver Lake; her daughter, Theresa Love of Ault, CO; her foster daughter, Jeanette (Randy) Theim of Austin, TX; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, John, Richard, and Jim Walthall; and her adopted brother, Brett Walthall.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Monday, November 2, 2009 at the Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church, Topeka. Interment will follow at Dover Cemetery. Mrs. Viergever will lie in state after 2 p.m., Sunday at the Penwell-Gabel Parker Price-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, where the family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church, 1329 SW 37th St, Topeka, KS 66611-2308.
