Amanda Tipton

Amanda E. Tipton, 7,of Berryton, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at Stormont-Vail Regional Hospital. Amanda was born March 8, 1998 in Topeka, Kansas. She was looking forward to celebrating her 8th Birthday party with her twin brother Colton, family and friends.

Amanda was a student at Berryton Elementary School. She enjoyed playing with her friends at school. Amanda loved to sing and dance with her karaoke machine in front of family and friends. She enjoyed going to church where she participated in Sunday school.

She is survived by her father, Tom Tipton, Jr., Berryton; mother, Brandi Slavens, Topeka; brother, Dalton Slavens, Topeka; twin brother, Colton Tipton, Berryton; Paternal grandparents, Thomas Tipton, Sr. and Carlyon Tipton, Berryton; Maternal grandparents, Tim and Donna Slavens, Topeka; and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.


Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m., Monday, March 13, 2006 at Fairlawn Heights Wesleyan Church. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Amanda will lie in state after 1:00 p.m., Sunday, March 12, 2006 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
