Amanda Janae Haid

Amanda JaNae "Mandi J" Haid, 24, of Meriden, was taken home to Heaven on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at Stormont-Vail Hospital in the arms of her loving mother and surrounded by her caring family. Everyone whom met, Amanda, a precious daughter, grand-daughter, niece, cousin and friend, fell in love with her because she was a very unique young lady. Amanda was born in Topeka on July 27, 1983. Amanda "Mandi" is survived by her blessed mother and best friend, Julie Haid, her wonderful grandparents, Glenn and DeLores Haid, an aunt, Sherrie (Michael) Calvin, an uncle, Steve (Christina) Haid, three special cousins, Amber, Matthew and Joshua Haid, two terrific second cousins, MaKayla and Ashton, all of Meriden and Donald Williams, a very special person, of Ozawkie. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Penwell-Gabel Parker- Price Chapel, 245 N.W. Independence Ave. Burial will follow in Prairie Home Cemetery. Mandi will lie in state after 3:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 p.m.
