Obituary of Allan Glenn Bingham
Allan Glenn Bingham, 67, Plainville (formerly of Topeka and Osage County) died Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at his home in Plainville. He was a resident of Plainville for the past 3 years.
Allan was born February 5, 1941 in Topeka the son of Marion Clark and Stella Ruth (River) Bingham. On January 21, 1960, Allan married Jeannie Lee Webb in Topeka. He served in the Navy Reserve Construction Battalion Detachment. He worked as a Master Electrician and was self employed by the family business, C&A Electric. Allan truly enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, playing bingo, and participating in the online prayer group, "Pogo".
Survivors include children Allan Gene and wifeTheresa of Plainville, Clark H. and wife, Holly Beth of Topeka, Tina Raylea and husband, Paul Davidson of Russell, Kimberly Ann and husband Michael Reynolds of Carbondale; brothers Jack of Phoenix, Arizona, Sylvan of Topeka, and Kenneth of Topeka, sisters Dorothy Sayles of Topeka, Evelyn Barngrover of Topeka, and Carolyn Ralph of Topeka. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife on May 2, 2004, 2 granddaughters Amber Lea Cobb and Trystyna Leanne Bingham, and three brothers Robert Neville, and George.
Visitation will be Saturday from 5 p.m., to 7 p.m., at the Mosher-Kemp Family Funeral Home, 320 SW 2nd, Plainville, KS 67663. There will also be visitation Sunday from 3 p.m., to 5 p.m, at Penwell-Gabel's Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave. Topeka, KS 66608.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Monday April 21, 2008 at the Rochester Cemetery in Topeka, with Pastor Ben McConnell officiating.
