Alexander "Alex" J. Barker

Alexander “Alex” J. Barker, age 15, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Alex was born September 24, 2003 in Topeka the son of Michael and Tina Wirt Dison. Alex was a freshman at Highland Park High School in Topeka. Alex is survived by his parents, Tina and Michael Dison of Topeka; his maternal grandparents, Mary Culifer and Victor Wirt; paternal grandparents, Erma Mattwaoshe; two sisters, Brandi and Catlyn Barker of Topeka; aunts, Bobbie (Bill) Arterburn and Peggy (Jason) Porter and several cousins, William, Kegan, Ryan and Noah.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 2, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. He will lie in state Thursday from noon – 8:00 p.m. with visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Rochester Cemetery.
