Agnes M. Forrer, 81, Topeka, died Friday, Nov. 19, 2004 at Midland Hospice House. She was born May 19, 1923 near Ottawa, KS the daughter of David and Alice Swank Sassaman. She had lived in Topeka since 1946. She married Harold M. Forrer May 24, 1942 in Ottawa, KS. They were married for 62 1/2 years. He survives of the home. Preceding her in death was a son Stanley H. Forrer on June 12, 1995. Other survivors include two daughters, Rosine Feist and her husband Dr. William of Birmingham, AL; Madeline Ribble and her husband Rev. Terry of Dunmore, PA; a son, J. David Forrer and his wife Sheila of Holiday Island, AR; 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchilden and a brother, Roy Sassaman of Overland Park, KS. Mrs. Forrer will lie in state after 2:00 p.m., Monday, Nov. 22, 2004 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel in North Topeka where the family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004 at the First Southern Baptist Church.
