Agnes B. Crawshaw, 90, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2006 at a local hospital.
Agnes was born July 6, 1915 in Delia, the daughter of Frank and Annie Fleming. She grew up in the rural Delia area and moved to the Grove area after her marriage.
She was a member of the H. D. U., the Lucky-5 Club and a project leader for the Grove 4-H. Agnes was a Sunday school teacher and elder at the Rossville Presbyterian Church.
Agnes married Elmer J. Crawshaw on January 2, 1935 in Topeka. He died September 20, 2002. Survivors include a son, Robert E. Crawshaw, Silver Lake; two daughters, Marjorie A. Kratina, Rossville, and Barbara J. Hitchcock, Silver Lake; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; and a sister, Melva Marney, New Castle, Colorado; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2006 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel in North Topeka. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Grove. Mrs. Crawshaw will lie in state at the funeral home after 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday and family will greet friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
