Adena Dee M. Sann
Adena Dee M. Sann, 87, Topeka, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, at Midland Hospice House. She was born Feb. 26, 1917, at Abilene, the daughter of John Thomas and Truly Viola Fink Davis. She married Elmer W. Sann on Oct. 30, 1937, in Topeka. He preceded her in death on July 10, 1994. Mrs. Sann moved to Topeka in 1937 when she married Elmer. They lived in Oakland. She was a member of the former St. Paul s Lutheran Church for 45 years. She was an Avon representative for many years. On any nice evening in the Oakland area, you could see Dee and Elmer on their tandem bicycle, enjoying each other s company. She had resided at Drury Place since March 2004. Surviving are a daughter, Penny J. , and her husband, Marvin F. Boleski, Topeka; a son, Terry L., and his wife, Jan Sann, Topeka; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Rochester Cemetery. Mrs. Sann will lie in state after 3 p. m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel, Parker-Price Chapel in North Topeka, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
