Mary Jane Stattelman

Mary Jane Stattelman, age 77, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Stormont Vail Hospital. She was born July 17, 1939 in St. Benedict, Kansas the daughter of Walter and Bertha Enneking Droge. Mary Jane married Donald J. Stattelman June 29, 1968 in Topeka. He preceded her in death November 16, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Lester, Virgil, Bill and Galen and sisters Wilma and Lete. Mary Jane is survived by two daughters, Karolyn Stattelman and Dawn (Dana) Nichols, both of Topeka; a brother, Walter Droge of Topeka and three grandchildren, Skylar, Aidan and Cooper. Mary Jane was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Topeka Moose Lodge #555.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Rosary will be prayed at 5:30 p.m. Monday with visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home. davidsonfuneral.com.
