Beth Ann Jester

Beth Ann Jester, age 82, of Topeka passed away Sunday morning, January 22, 2017 at the Plaza West Care Home in Topeka. Beth was born October 9, 1934 in Emporia the daughter of Leslie Peterson and Mary Miller Peterson. She graduated from Emporia High School and later attended Clark Business College. She married Landes Jester June 18, 1955 in Emporia. He preceded her in death October 26, 1981. Beth worked at Macy’s in downtown Topeka in the mail room.
She is survived by three daughters, Marybeth (Douglas) Forshee of Tecumseh, Anna Maria Jester of Tecumseh and Lesley (Terry) Strobel of Topeka; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Private family inurnment will be held at Topeka Cemetery. Davidson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
