Zachary "Zach" Alan Boydston

Zachary “Zach” A. Boydston, age 32, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017 at his home in Chicago of an apparent heart condition. Zach was born December 18, 1984 in Topeka the son of Ronald and DeeAnn Humphrey Boydston. Zach graduated from Shawnee Heights High School in 2003 where he was active with various theatre and musical groups; Baker School of Nursing in 2007 and North Park University of Chicago with a masters of science degree in 2014. Zach worked as a family nurse practitioner at Chicago Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was part of the physicians group there. Zach loved gourmet cooking and was featured in the Topeka Capital Journal. While attending Washburn University he was active with the choir that traveled to South Africa. Zach received many accomplishments and enjoyed life. He loved to entertain and travel to new and exciting places around the world. While home for Christmas, Zach enjoyed volunteering at the Topeka Rescue Mission during their Christmas dinner. Zach will be greatly missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents. He is survived by his mother, DeeAnn Boydston of Topeka; three sisters, Ricquelle Landis of Topeka, Rebeka Boydston of Topeka and Nikki Boydston of Morrisville, NC.; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fellowship Bible Church in Topeka. Visitation will be one hour before from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at the Penwell Gable Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Topeka Rescue Mission and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home. davidsonfuneral.com.
