Edmond Theo Hinely

Edmond “Edd” T. Hinely, age 63 of Topeka passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 at the Topeka V.A. Hospital. Ed was born January 2, 1954 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was raised by John Hinely and Esther Bradford Hinely. He graduated from school while living in Georgia. He enlisted and served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He later worked as a meat clerk at Dillon's in Topeka. He married Cindy Wood June 12, 2016 in Topeka.
Ed is survived by his wife Cindy; a son, Edmond “Joe” Hinely of Topeka; a daughter, Capri (Dustin) Kiekel of Auburn, NE; a step daughter, Kaila Griess of Topeka; six brothers, Jerry, Daryl, Wade, John Kevin, Carl and Russell Hinely and two grandchildren. Ed enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing.
No immediate services are planned now but a memorial camping trip is pending this spring. Davidson Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
