Janice Cline

Janice A. Cline, age 82, of Topeka passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 in Topeka. Janice was born one of 10 children to Garland O. Talley and Frances Puckett Talley. She graduated from Altoona High School. She married James Michael Cline December 5, 1959 in Topeka. He preceded her in death March 29, 2006. Janice worked in Topeka as an assistant to an Oral Surgeon. She attended Faith Lutheran Church and Hope Lutheran Church in Topeka. Janice was an avid golfer, participating in the Lake Shawnee Ladies Golf League.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, Barbara Tart and Judith K. Casebeer and a son in law, Joey Bohlender. She is survived by a son, Steve (Tamara) Cline of San Antonio, TX; two daughters, Kimberly (Eddie) Reed of Topeka and Linda Bohlender of Topeka; three brothers, Ronald Talley of Burien, Washington, Richard Talley of Yuma, Arizona and Michael Talley of Topeka; four sisters, Karen Dannels of Independence, Missouri, Donna Ferguson of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Peggy Winfrey of Springfield, Missouri and Ginger Helfey of Topeka and six grandchildren, Corporal Jacob Bohlender, U.S.M.C., Miranda Bohlender, Trey Bohlender, Ryan Bender, Llewellyn Cline and Connor Cline.
Memorial services will be Friday, January 20, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Central Park Christian Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Shelter Living Inc. of Topeka, and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.
