Dustin Keith Gillespie

Dustin Keith Gillespie, 36, of Topeka, Kansas, went home to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on December 12, 2016.

Dustin was born in Topeka, Kansas on March 7, 1980 to adoring parents Keith and Diana (Baker) Gillespie. He was the first child, and big brother to sisters Ashley (wife of Jesse Hughes) and Sarah Gillespie. He graduated from Seaman High School in 1998. Dustin was married to his best friend and love of his life Erin Broadbent Gillespie (daughter of Brian and Pam Broadbent) on June 25, 2011. They were blessed with their beautiful daughter Ally Elizabeth to whom Dustin was a doting, loving father. According to Dustin, Ally was “the best part” of his day, and she had him completely wrapped around her little finger.
Dustin was a man of faith and humor, with a larger than life personality. He was a franchise owner of two Gambino’s Pizza restaurants. As many know, he was a passionate fan of all things relating to The University of Oklahoma. He would have loved to have talked OU with anyone, just not during game time. Boomer Sooner. He loved talking Erin into grilling out for their friends and family, Sunday evening talks with his dad, baseball games with his pals, their two dogs, Okie and Boomer, and coming home to Erin and Ally.

Dustin was the grandson of David (deceased) and Kay Baker and Harold (deceased) and Arnetta Burgess.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, at Topeka Bible Church, 1101 Mulvane, Topeka. Visitation will be Friday evening, 5:00-7:00 p.m. at TBC.
