Allen H. Koci, 86, of Topeka passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Stormont-Vail Hospital. He was born January 11, 1930 in Dover Township the son of Dewey J. and Mildred A. Whitten Koci. Allen served his country during the Korean War in the United States Navy. He was a lawn and garden specialist. Allen was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Auburn.
He is survived by his brothers, D. Eugene Koci (Josephine) of Topeka, and Russell Koci (Jessie) of Auburn; Virgil Koci (Barbara) of Topeka sister Gertrude Bidwell (Don) of Auburn; 17 nieces and nephews.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Doris Garcia; one niece; one nephew; his infant brother, Max David Koci; and an infant sister, Marjorie Louis Koci.
Funeral services will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Auburn at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 1, 2016. Interment will follow at Dover Cemetery. Mr. Koci will lie in state at the church and the family will receive friends from 6-7 pm Wednesday evening at the First Presbyterian Church in Auburn.
