Robert Eugene Foster

Robert (Bobby) E. Foster, 69, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016 at his home. He was born on November 1, 1947, in Topeka to Raymond Foster and Evelyn Jagars Foster.

Bobby served in the United States Army from 1967-1970 and was stationed in Vietnam.

He married Sherry Dian Barker on May 22, 1988, in Topeka.
Bobby was employed at Foster Automatic Transmission Shop for several years.

Bobby is survived by a son, Matthew Foster, a daughter Melissa (Missy) Barker; two sisters, Bonnie Royalty and Judy Phinney; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his three brothers, Freddie Dean, Raymond (Eddie) Edward, and Jimmie Lee Foster.

Visitation will be December 1, from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be Friday, December 2, at 9:00 a.m. at Leavenworth National Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Davidson Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
