Jean Marie Oxby

Jean Marie Oxby, 71, of Silver Lake, Kansas passed away on October 7, 2016 at her home. She was born on August 6, 1945 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, the daughter of Frank Jozefczyk and Elizabeth Allen. Jean worked as an insurance verifier for the St. Mary’s Hospital in Apple Valley, California.
She was an avid health book reader and very talented cook, but she will be known for her baking abilities the most, her loving nature, and giving her daughters such a wonderful, happy home.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents and a sister Joyce Lanferman.
Survivors include her two sisters, Irene Jozefczyk of Temple City, California and JoAnne Vento of Duarte, California; two daughters, Sandee Klucas and Sherri Oxby, both of Silver Lake, and one grandson, Kyle Klucas.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 pm on Friday, October 14, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Silver Lake. Funeral services will follow beginning at 3:00 pm. Interment will follow at the Silver Lake Cemetery. Davidson Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
