Willard "Bill" Hawkins

Willard “Bill” L. Hawkins, age 80, of Topeka passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Midland Hospice Care in Topeka. Bill was born November 7, 1935 in Cadillac, Michigan to Clyde and Vera Gibson Hawkins. Bill served in the U.S. Army during Korea. He married Patricia Moore November 30, 1979 in Topeka. Bill retired from United Van Lines after many years. He was preceded in death by four siblings, Jean Leiding, Leon Hawkins, Iris Schmuck and Michael Hawkins. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; four step sons, Cecil Clement, David Clement, both of Topeka, Gilbert Clement of Idaho and Dale Allington of Lawrence; a brother, Clyde (Jeanne) Hawkins of Cadillac; two sisters, Betty Bailey of Michigan and Mary (Bill) Lamb of Cadillac along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be Friday, October 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Midland Hospice Care and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.
