Robert Lee Hester

Robert L. Hester, age 74 of Topeka passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in Topeka after a long battle with cancer. He was born May 15, 1942 in Tupelo, Mississippi the son of Carl Lee Hester and Addie Rains Hester. He worked for the City of Topeka for many years. He married Anthia Mae Maze, the later divorced. He is survived by two sons, Ronny and Daniel Hester; two brothers, Floyd and Billy Hester and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Paul Hester; brothers, Winfred, Quinton, M.C., Jimmy Lee, Fred, Ray and James along with a sister, Sadie B. Price. Robert loved to work, and when he wasn't working, he enjoyed fishing.

Cremation is planned at Davidson Funeral Home.
