Mary Virginia Barron

Mary Virginia Barron, 89, of Topeka, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016. Mary graduated from high school at Atchison, later served in the United States Navy during the Korean War before beginning her career with Southwestern Bell where she worked as an operator in Kansas City. She lived in the Newman area west of Perry for many years before moving to Topeka. Mary was very fond of her dogs which were her companions on her farm.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Fuchs, grandsons, Mike Fuchs and Drew Fuchs (Bekka); sister JoAnn Frey; and cousin, Ruth Lichtenstern.
Mary will lie in state from 1-5 on Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home. Graveside service and inurnment will be held on Friday, June 17th at 10:30 am at Rose Hill Cemetery at Newman.
