Joan Elizabeth Hodges

Joan E. Hodges, age 82, of Topeka passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 at the Bridge Haven Memory Care in Lawrence. Joan was born July 3, 1933 in Kansas City, KS the daughter of Joe and Elizabeth Bushey. She married Lloyd “Cowboy” Copas. He preceded her in death. Joan enjoyed writing music professionally throughout her life. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Jody Givens and Kathleen Dyer. She is survived by a grandson, Michael (Victoria) Dyer of Topeka along with a great grandson, Justin Dyer and a great granddaughter, Sarah Flynn.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 5, 2016 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Cremation will follow. davidsonfuneral.com
