Mary Lou Roseberry

Mary Lou Roseberry, 72, of Topeka passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 at her home. Mary Lou attended Highland Park High School and later attended Washburn University. She was born March 5, 1944 in Topeka the daughter of Paul and Mildred Brown Best. She had worked for twenty years at Walmart in South Topeka. She attended First Assembly of God for a number of years. She enjoyed gardening, antique shopping, and spoiling her favorite dog, Ariel. Mary Lou had a great love for the Lord and enjoyed her time working with her Walmart family.
She is survived by her children, Robert Brown of Kenaly, North Carolina, Paul Brown of San Diego, CA and Dawn Roseberry of Topeka. Eight grandchildren, Isabella Hosman, Joshua Brown, Michael Brown, Nicholas Brown, Camille Brown, Jessica Colin, Anthony Brown and Gracie Brown; and one great-grandchild, Gemma Colin.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Harvey Best, Jerry Best and Ruth Huske.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Half-Day Cemetery. She will lie in state from 1-6 on Friday where the family will receive friends from 4-6 pm at Davidson’s. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mary Lou Roseberry Fund at Azura Credit Union.
