William B. Dempsey

William B. Dempsey, age 94, of Topeka, passed away Monday, April 11, 2016 at the Autumn Home Plus Care Home in Topeka. William was born February 22, 1922 in Arkansas City, KS the son of William Jennings Dempsey and Zola Leah Hostetler Dempsey. Bill made a career in the U.S. Navy as a Master Chief Metal Smith. He married Naomi Severs. She preceded him in death.
He is survived by a daughter, Diana Gay of Topeka; a son, William B. Dempsey Jr. of Baldwin, KS; three sister, Margaret Trent, Kenna Speck and Carolyn Osborn; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Bills’ wishes were to be cremated. No services are planned.
